Foreign students flood appeals tribunal to stay longer

The number of prospective foreign students lodging appeals against having their visa rejected has more than doubled in nine months, swamping the national appeals tribunal.
Experts say much of the caseload is people using appeals as a means of delaying their mandatory departure from Australia after their current visa expired.
